Cloud & Infrastructure
Migrations that finish, and infrastructure that costs what you expected it to cost.
The problem
Half your systems moved to the cloud and half didn't, so you're paying for a data center and a cloud bill at the same time. The migration that was supposed to take a quarter is in its second year. And the monthly invoice keeps climbing without anyone being able to say exactly which workload is responsible.
How we help
We plan migrations against what your business actually runs on, not a reference architecture. That means being honest about which workloads shouldn't move at all. Then we execute — with a rollback path at every step — and hand you infrastructure that's documented, right-sized, and billed at a number you can predict.
What's included
- Cloud readiness assessment and migration planning
- Microsoft 365 and Azure deployment, tenant setup, and hardening
- Server and workload migration with tested rollback
- Hybrid and on-premise infrastructure design
- Virtualization, storage, and capacity planning
- Cost analysis and right-sizing — cloud bills usually have slack in them
- Identity federation and single sign-on
- Ongoing infrastructure monitoring and management
Mid-migration rescue
How this looks in practice
A meaningful share of our cloud work is finishing migrations that stalled under someone else. The pattern is nearly always the same — the easy workloads moved, the ones tangled up in the business didn't, and nobody scoped the second half.
Questions we get asked
- Should everything move to the cloud?
- No. Workloads with heavy predictable throughput, hard latency requirements, or licensing that punishes per-core cloud pricing are frequently cheaper and more reliable where they are. We'll tell you which of yours those are, even when the answer is that you should keep the hardware.
- How long does a migration take?
- It depends far more on how tangled the systems are than on how many there are. A clean email and file migration for a 50-person company is weeks. A line-of-business application with custom integrations and no documentation is a different conversation, and we'd rather have that conversation before you sign than halfway through.
- Will we lose access during the move?
- Planned cutovers happen outside business hours with a tested rollback path. We don't move anything we can't put back.
The rest of what we do
Managed IT
Your IT department, staffed and running — monitoring, helpdesk, patching, and the network underneath it.
Cybersecurity
Defenses that hold up to a real attacker — and the evidence trail that satisfies your customers' auditors.
Business Continuity
Backups somebody has actually restored from, and a recovery plan that's been rehearsed.
IT Strategy
A technology plan tied to what the business is trying to do — and a budget that survives contact with reality.
Software & AI
Software for the part of your business no vendor sells a product for — and AI applied where it actually pays.
Let's talk about what you're actually running.
A short, direct conversation about your systems, what's fragile, and what it would take to fix. No pitch deck, no obligation, and we'll tell you if we're not the right fit.
